Looking back on JiaBo’s journey through the pandemic, it has been marked by hardships and twists and turns, yet above all, it has gathered invaluable experiences and memories.

In early March, as COVID‑19 cases began to emerge in Shanghai, the company’s management took proactive measures, exercising prudent leadership and implementing a comprehensive epidemic‑prevention plan. Starting on March 14, production facilities were placed under closed‑loop management ahead of schedule. At the same time, the company stockpiled raw materials to ensure uninterrupted order fulfillment and procured essential supplies to provide employees stationed at the plant with peace of mind. On March 28, following the announcement of citywide lockdown measures, Jiabailitong remained calm and maintained stable, orderly operations.

Under the dual pressure of fulfilling customer orders while ensuring the steady supply of epidemic‑prevention materials, JiaBo employees rallied together, pressed on with unwavering determination, and worked tirelessly to guarantee timely shipment of customer orders and the uninterrupted delivery of essential supplies—earning the trust of both customers and the government. The COVID‑19 situation in Shanghai is exceptionally severe, deeply concerning everyone. As a key unit designated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for emergency supplies reserves, Jiablitong has upheld its corporate social responsibility by donating over 200,000 pairs of medical isolation face shields and medical isolation goggles—valued at more than RMB 1 million—to organizations including the Jilin City Charity Federation, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Pujiang Town in Minhang District, the Minhang District Commission of Economy, the Minhang District Commission of Science and Technology, the Minhang District Administration for Market Regulation, the Qiyate Industrial Park, the Shanghai Indoor Environmental Purification Industry Association, the Medical Workers’ Union of Pudong New Area, and the Gongli Hospital of Pudong New Area.

 

 

 

 

 

Safeguarding the safety of makeshift hospitals and supporting epidemic prevention and control.

 

On April 9, Shanghai’s largest makeshift hospital, “Clover,” began operations. As a key enterprise in the city’s supply chain for COVID‑19 prevention and control materials, Jiabailitong responded promptly to the government’s call, ramping up production around the clock to provide 500,000 sets of medical isolation face shields and eye shields for the Clover makeshift hospital, along with tens of thousands of additional pandemic‑prevention kits. To date, Jiabailitong has supplied millions of medical isolation face shields and eye shields to major hospitals, disease control centers, makeshift hospitals, and frontline testing sites, with a total value amounting to tens of millions of yuan.

 

 

80% of employees have returned to work, ensuring the normal operation of enterprises.

 

On April 16, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization issued the “Shanghai Guidelines for Epidemic Prevention and Control during the Resumption of Work and Production by Industrial Enterprises (Version 1.0),” and Jiabailitong was prominently listed among the first batch of 666 enterprises authorized to resume operations. To enhance customer service, boost office efficiency, and ensure the smooth and orderly operation of the company, employees working from home actively responded to the calls of both the government and the enterprise, proactively applying to return to work. By May 5, 80% of Jiabailitong’s staff had resumed on-site operations.

 

 

 

Strict closed-loop management to ensure regional security.

 

Jiabailitong has implemented strict closed-loop management and is leaving no stone unturned in all aspects of epidemic prevention. First, internal staff are rigorously managed: office and workshop areas maintain strict separation, with communication conducted exclusively online. In addition, in full compliance with government防疫 requirements, employees undergo daily antigen testing and nucleic acid testing, and premises are thoroughly disinfected each day. Second, truck drivers and incoming goods are carefully controlled. Upon arrival, vehicles undergo comprehensive disinfection, and drivers are required to remain in their cabs; all loading and unloading operations are performed by Jiabailitong staff wearing appropriate protective gear. Drivers are also provided with personal protective equipment and essential daily supplies, using a contactless delivery process. As for external items, they are disinfected, left to air out for a specified period, and then retrieved.
